Grant will allow RCC to apply the aggregation and publication tool PressForward to the Ant Spider Bee: Exploring Digital Environmental Humanities blog
The Rachel Carson Center is pleased to partner with the Roy Rosenzweig Center for History and New Media (RRCHNM) at George Mason University on a successful grant from the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation. This grant will allow us to apply the aggregation and publication tool PressForward to the blog Ant Spider Bee: Exploring Digital Environmental Humanities, edited by the RCC’s Environment & Society Portal director Kimberly Coulter, together with Wilko Graf von Hardenberg of the University of Wisconsin-Madison and Finn Arne Jorgensen of Umeå University. This pilot project will inform future development of the Environment and Society Portal and, we hope, lead to future collaborations with the RRCHNM. The Portal team expects to debut the enhanced site in April 2015 and looks forward to hearing what you think!
